I am very conscious of the fact that I have not blogged for a long time. Typically, I would release a post at least once a week. But I have gone on for more than few weeks without releasing any new posts.
There is no filtering of why or what happened. I am drained from the COVID-19 pandemic. Working from home, feeding my kids and homeschooling all simultaneously really left no time for blogging. I could easily write anything that was on my mind at the time. But I just didn’t want to do it. I also didn’t want to write about COVID-19. Enough people are writing, researching, and sharing the evolving knowledge of this coronavirus. I didn’t want to add to the mix.
So I felt it was best to write nothing at all.
But I think it is time to get back at blogging. I have few ideas that I am ready to shared in upcoming posts. Stay tuned.
Here are something different to share. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I bought a new bike so I can ride with my kids and spend time in the outdoor during the lockdown. Last time when I rode a bicycle was when I was 15 years old. I am still warming up to my bike. 🙂
I also took a virtual art class (offered by Agnes Etherington Art Centre) to reconnect with my creative side. That was a lot of fun, relaxing and therapeutic. I should do this more often. In fact, I remember I always wanted to be creative.
I also turned to music to rejuvenate. I started playing piano again because I was trying to inspire my kids to learn to play. But I quickly realize playing piano is a great cognitive enhancer and mental exercise that is now more important to me than before. So my fingers are once again slowly getting back to the piano keyboard.
So this is how I am dealing with my fatigue. How about you? How do you deal with yours?
Thank you for reading my post and I hope we can develop a vaccine so that we can conquer the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay safe everyone.
